I'm Not Jumping on His Band Wagon

Dear Mr. Dobrer

For the past 3 months the media have been imploring everyone, particularly conservatives, that we have to jump on the Obama mania bandwagon and get on board with hope, change, saving the world, and helping him make this the best administration ever.

Pardon me if I haven't been hypnotized yet. I don't remember the clarion call for unity when Bush was elected. In fact I remember derision and outright hatred from the start. Except for about a minute after 9/11, that hatred turned to Bush Derangement Syndrome when liberals (or is it progressives now...I just can't keep all the names straight) realized that Bush was actually going to get some payback for 9/11 and for 30 years of Islamic attacks against this country.

God forbid we should actually use the military for what it was designed for.So I will not be supporting this President. I won't go into details as to why...I talked myself blue in the face to liberals, particularly liberal Jews, about this guy's past prior to the election, but it didn't seem to matter. Liberals just had to have this guy elected. They seem to think that the Democratic Party is still the party of Roosevelt, Truman and Kennedy. Suffice to say that nothing adds up regarding Obama. He is a fraud and your typical Chicago pol con-artist.

Obama likens himself to Lincoln and everyone blithely nods their heads. What everyone seems to forget (because we teach the Howard Zinn version of American history these days) is that Lincoln waged all-out war in spite of a 40% approval rating of his war performance in the North. Many Northerners preferred an exit strategy and a negotiated settlement with the South.

It was Lincoln who green lighted Sherman's March to the sea. He understood that you win wars by waging total war and utterly defeating your enemy. So did Roosevelt in WWII.Obama and Panetta seem to have a problem with pouring water down the terrorists' nose to get information. He wants to talk negotiate with Hamas and Ahmedinijad.

I attended a Hannukah party recently. I was surrounded by liberal Jews who are entranced by the latest wonder boy. The hosts of this party have a 13 year old daughter who won a trip to the Inauguration by writing a poem dedicated to Obama. The gist of the poem was Obama will create world peace, bring everyone together and end the partisan bickering. Very typical for an idealistic 13 year old and I didn't have the heart to burst the bubble. She will find out in 4 years, when she's 17, that Obama isn't the Messiah and that she was lied to.Obama will fail, just like every Democratic President since Kennedy has failed and not because of good intentions.

He will fail because warmed over New Deal Great Society solutions never work. He will fail internationally because he is soft on National Security. So, again, pardon me if I don't jump on the sycophant Obama love train.

Sincerely,

Gary Starr

The Most Powerful Political Force on Earth - Delusion

The most important force in history is Delusion.Ray Kraft There is only one way to solve this problem, and that is with a strong dose of intellectual honesty, which is in very short supply.

1 THE PROBLEM. The Palis and most of the rest of the Arabs want a world without Israel. This is a non-negotiable issue, as long as they think they can negotiate.
2. THE SOLUTION. A straightforward, blunt, message that there will NEVER be a Palestinian state unless and until the Palis and the entire Arab League with no holdouts formally by international treaty recognize the legitimacy of Israel. This is gonna be a lot of bloody raw crow for them to swallow, but the stick and the carrot is - No Palestine.
3. THIS GIVES THEM TWO OPTIONS:

(a) Accept Israel and get a Palestinian state.
(b) Don't accept Israel and get NO Palestinian state, forever, at least not without a total military victory over Israel at enormous cost in money and blood, and an enormous risk of devastating defeat.

The psychological problem at the root of this problem is that Condi, Bush, Obama, everybody at State, almost everybody who rises to Power, does so because they are seeking approval, they want everybody to like them to make up for their real or perceived insecurities from their defective childhoods, they lack the confidence and internal coherence they need to want to be disliked by their enemies and adversaries. But to be an effective negotiator, litigator, diplomat, president, you must be indifferent to the enmity of your enemies. As soon as you value the good opinions of your enemies, you're toast. You lost. Before you began. And you're enemies know it.

Thus, they are unwilling to walk away from the negotiations, because if they did somebody might not like them, and that is an intolerable idea. But you can't negotiate effectively without being ready and willing to walk away, and Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Halfbright Albright, Bush, Condi, Obama, none of the idiots are smart enough to be willing to walk away, or secure enough. So they construct an elaborate "Road Map To Peace" a delusional fantasy construct to avoid the Reality that there is only one possible solution to this problem, and that is to force the Arab League to recognize the legitimacy of Israel and wipe out Hamas, Hezbollah, etc., either politically or by force.

What the ME needs is an American president with enough internal security to be willing to be disliked by his enemies, and we aren't gonna have that for at least four more years, if ever, before people without profound insecurities to compensate for very rarely run for public office because they are secure enough to be content tending their own gardens, as Voltaire suggested. And now we're getting another pathologically insecure narcissist who's gonna be even more of a groveler than Bush and Condi and Clinton and Halfbright Albright.

And the Rags, who Know they're Right because they're Muslims and they Believe in their Faith and they have unshakeable Faith in their Belief do not have this problem - they will be as manipulative and duplicitous as they desire, and they don't care who doesn't like them, because they Know that Islam will be Victorious over every other religion, because Koran 9:33 says so and so they know that Time and Allah are on their side. They have nothing to lose. And they don't value human life in the same way we do, because they really believe that good Muslims go to heaven when they die, so they welcome death in Jihad, even as bystanders, while Euros and Americans don't really believe they go to heaven when they die, so they do all possible to avoid death as long as they can So the Muzzies feel they have nothing to lose, not even Life; and the Americans feel they have everything to lose, Life. So, guess who has the upper hand, psychologically? The Rags are risking nothing, the West is risking everything, from their respective internal logic systems.

The Euros and Americans are so damn stupid and so deeply invested in their "peace delusion" that they don't seem to understand that they aren't playing by the same rules as the Rags, that they have opposite objectives, they aren't even playing the same game, they're playing on the same game board but it's not the same game; and that you can NEVER negotiate or mediate a settlement if you have opposite objectives - opposite objectives can only be resolved by trial, and war is trial by force, trial by combat. Americans and Euros want to Believe that "trial by combat" is a thing of the distant past, but it isn't, it's with us today, it will always be with us, we call it "war," mass trial by mass combat, the trial of nations by combat.

State, Condi, the Euros, Obama, Bush, etc., seem unable to grasp the idea that the Rags do not have the same goals, and thus keep puffing up their fantasy, their delusion, by acting as if the Rags and the Americans have the same objectives, but they and we don't. The Americans and Euros fail to know their enemy, they Assume that the other guys have the same basic values and objectives - Peace - and "Assume" makes an Ass of U and Me. Here's the difference.

1. Americans want Peace. For the Euros and Americans, Peace is the highest and best and greatest value, the No. One priority, the purpose of politics is to Make Peace. The purpose of Life is Peace.

2. Muzzies don't want Peace. Peace is not even in their Top Ten. They want Victory, and Victory is No. One. First on the short list. And Victory is not Peace.

For the Muzzies, Peace is irrelevant, a non-issue, a non-value, until after Islam is victorious. Once Israel is gone, Euro is Muslim, and America has evaporated or converted under a Muslim President Obama, then maybe they'll think about Peace. The Peace of Islam, the Peace of Submission. The objectives and values are DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED. One wants Peace, the other wants War. One wants Peace, the other wants Victory. Guess who is stronger?

Psychologically. The Peacemonger? Or the Warmonger? The psychological Pacifist? Or the psychological Warrior? The side that pleads, Why can't we all just get along? Or the side that snarls, Die, Evil Infidel! __________________________ There will NEVER be "Peace in the Middle East" unless and until Israel and the West convince the Muzzies that they only have two options:

(a) Peace, with Israel, or
(b) utter devastation, with or without Israel.

Why? Because both sides are DELUSIONAL. The Muzzies have the delusion that they have a mandate from Allah to rule the world. The West has the delusion that Peace is an option. Both must be disillusioned of these delusions before Peace becomes possible. But both are busy as they can be doing all in their power to puff up their delusions, because they have all abandoned their search for Truth, and are desperately seeking a Good Fantasy to give themselves the delusion of Importance so people with like them and grovel before them seeking their favor which confers the delusion of Power and Meaning. And the rub is that for the Americans, Peace is important, and Victory is not. And for the Muzzies, Victory is Important, and Peace is not. Opposites. Diametrically opposed objectives.

As Rudyard Kipling wrote over a century ago (1889), "Oh, East is East, and West is West and never the twain shall meet till Earth and Sky stand presently at God's great judgment seat but there is neither East nor West nor border, nor breed, nor birth when two strong men stand face to face though they come from the ends of the earth . . ." But what we see is a psychologically strong man, Islam, facing a psychologically weak man, the West, and never the twain shall meet.

The ambitions of Islam can only be contained by equal and opposite Strength. But the West no longer believes in Strength, only in Peace. So the world is sucked down into the maelstrom again, in desperate pursuit of its fantasies, its reality avoidance, its delusional thought disorders, its Folies en Masse. And the most important force in history is Delusion.

Government is the Problem – Let’s Solve It

Government has become such a problem to ordinary Americans that they opted to elect someone who would talk to them rather than continue on in silent despair about their slavery from taxation and inflation. Congress didn’t get a 91% disapproval rating because the people thought that Congress had their back – no the people believed they were getting stabbed in the back by Congress and by an Administration refusing to provide ordinary Americans any economic relief or even hope for the future.

Into this cauldron of discontent the Ownership Society Institute (OSI) has proposed a do-over of a major portion of the economy. It has devised a plan to save Social Security, Disability and Medicare from the irresponsible actions of Congress and immediately extinguish the $50 trillion of unfunded debt that irresponsibility has placed as a burden on the American people. OSI’s plan massively increases the benefits paid under Social Security, Disability and Medicare while simultaneously generating the largest tax cut in American history. It does so by returning the ownership of property presently confiscated by government to them to grow into a wealth fund.

Presently 15.3% of the working life income of Americans (payroll taxes) is sent to the government in return for what can only be described as no nest egg and a pathetically small safety net. If your financial advisor suggested such a plan you would have him arrested. OSI’s plan, Rise Up America (RUA) – www.riseupamerica.us diverts payroll taxes into a Personal Pension Account (PPA’s), owned by the taxpayer and lets the taxpayer chose one of several large pools of indexed stock funds into which those funds are invested for his or her working life. The average household with a $50,000 annual income would generate a nest egg of $4 million and a monthly retirement check of $33,000 after 40 years.

The immediate reaction to doing anything with the “entitlements” is fear of government. Fear that Congress will find some way to raise your taxes or reduce the paltry benefits you now get. Barack Obama and the Democrats Congressional majority has promised to do just that – reduce benefits and/or raise taxes. People have no confidence in their elected officials to do anything positive on their behalf. So the first line of attack by OSI’s opponents is for them to claim it is too expensive to transition to PPA’s. So your question to me is how can we (as a people) get our government to let us save and invest our own money and at the same time find a way for government to guarantee to continue paying some of us benefits under the old programs?

RUA establishes as its base of benefits - which will be paid “forever” - the amounts presently paid under existing Social Security, Disability and Medicare programs. In other words those entitlement benefits will be the floor under which no benefits under RUA can ever fall. RUA plans not only to substantially increase benefits and reduce taxes but someday hopefully increase the “base” benefits under existing programs.

So the question of the cost of transition has to be answered. It is ludicrous to have to answer such a question when the people under RUA will get a $4 million nest egg versus the ZERO nest egg they get now, but since fear is so much a part of our national disbelief in our government, OSI has several chapters on the transition in the free on-site e-book “Make the Poor Rich and America Wealthier.” There are many financial ways to fund the transition described in the book but let’s look at the easiest.

The easiest way to transition to Personal Pension Accounts is to pay for the cost monetarily – that means we print the money and send it to beneficiaries. Now the knee-jerk reaction to that is that such a plan will devalue the dollar and cause inflation. That is normally true if the money is spent and not invested. For example the Administration through the Federal Reserve just pays for something that doesn’t grow like a subsidy for poor people; the value of the dollar goes down. We have many examples of irresponsible governments that pay all their bills by printing money and suffer massive devaluations of their currencies. Believe it or not Brazil had a combined one trillion to one devaluation in the 80’s.

Now drop your resistance and fear about printing money and ask yourself if the money printed was invested in the stock market and not spent on expenses what would happen? Let’s take the present amounts received as payroll taxes, $1.5 trillion a year and the amount paid out as benefits, $1.3 trillion a year. Invested in the stock market for 40 years and earning a historical 10% rate of return per year over 40-year cycles the annual investment of $1.5 trillion will grow and compound into $663 Trillion. Printing $1.3 trillion a year for 40 years amounts to only $52.2 trillion. The cost of benefits will never amount to $52.2 trillion as retirees will die and the amount in the PPAs will grow so large that they will be able to independently fund the benefits due under the old programs. This should allay your fears about the effect

Now there will be those who will say we are still devaluing the dollar. The answer to that is no we aren’t. The value of a currency is directly proportional to the capability of a country issuing the currency ability to honor and back up its currency. The US dollar is presently the reserve currency of the world yet the total value of all our stocks in all our stock markets is less than $20 trillion. If you were a currency trader and RUA was enacted and a $663 stock market evaluation was in the offing what currency would you be buying?

As stated in my many articles about the transition, we not only can fund the PPAs and pay all benefits but in addition increase the value of the US Dollar - all simultaneously

Now in addition to this capability, it is a definite certainty that the infusion of $125 billion a month ($1.5 trillion annually) into the stock market will shoot the economy into hyper-drive, rescue it from its present uncertainty and malaise and generate an enormous increase in “income tax” receipts. Those increases will be used to reduce the $1.3 trillion in benefits to almost nothing in three to five years if the enabling RUA legislation prohibits Congress from spending the increase but directs it to pay off the cost of transitioning to PPA.

Those whose fears include reducing entitlement benefits, increasing taxes and devaluation of the currency do not need to harbor those fears. RUA among other things will immensely increase benefits, generate enormous tax cuts, extinguish $50 trillion of government debt, make the poor rich, etc. while simultaneously increasing the value of the US dollar.

If you are interested in supporting OSI in its efforts to enact RUA legislation go to our website www.riseupamerica.us and download our book which will sign you up as a member and make a contribution to our effort.

Obama Has Courage – Do We?

Generally speaking neither Republicans or Democrats are courageous enough to address the financial instability and out-of-control funding of Social Security and Medicare. FDR warned everyone in the 1940’s that Social Security should be funded by investing payroll taxes in privatized annuities by 1965. Congress stole the accumulated Social Security funds in the Johnson administration and wasted them in the War on Poverty. Bill Clinton formed a commission which concluded that privatization of Social Security was the only answer to solving the funding crisis. He ignored their recommendation. George Bush took a fly swatter to the Social Security elephant and embarrassed us all. Other than those attempts at reason, the unfunded debt of those programs will reach $50 trillion this year because of collective inaction and irresponsibility of a people and their representatives.

Into this frightened mass of political anxiety comes Barack “the bull” Obama.
WASHINGTON — President-elect Barack Obama said Wednesday that overhauling Social Security and Medicare would be “a central part” of his administration’s efforts to contain federal spending, signaling for the first time that he would wade into the thorny politics of entitlement programs.

We can pretty well guess what a community organizing lawyer with a Marxist upbringing will recommend – higher taxes and lower benefits.

To counter his arguments I have designed a fix to those programs that involves (1) a massive reduction in taxes, (2) a gigantic increase in retirement benefits, (3) immediately extinguishing the $50 trillion in debt, (4) creating million-dollar nest eggs to build family wealth, (5) monthly retirement checks in the $10,000 to $50,000 a month range, (6) a $1.5 trillion infusion of new capital into the stock market annually, (7) replacing millions of pension plans with one simple transportable pension plan, (8) emancipating women financially that stay home and rear children, (9) cutting the size of federal and state governments in half, (10) vaulting the economy into hyper-drive – 5% to 7% growth rates and many, many more benefits - See www.riseupamerica.us - for the Rise Up America (RUA) plan.

Obama’s plan will suffocate Americans with more socialism. Mine will bring liberty to all economic classes of Americans through the intelligent application of capitalism.

If you believe in freedom, liberty and enterprise, join me at the Ownership Society Institute (OSI) to fight President Obama and his socialists solutions that keep so many Americans poor and dependent. You can sign up with us by signing up for a free e-book on the website.

We at OSI are ready to stand up and fight for RUA – hopefully I can find some patriots to help me. If I can get enough of you it won’t be fair fight – they believe in perpetuating poverty and we believe in ending it.

Republicans 2009

Gee – another toothless communique from a major leader in CA Republican politics. To wit-
"During the last two cycles, however, that winning formula was abandoned, Republicans became the party of big government, failed to fight for lower taxes and they lost big. By now, every Republican should know that story. So, as we look ahead:"

1. Of course - our party needs to be the party of limited Gov’t and lower taxes

2. Of course – our party needs to reaffirm its belief in America and her defense, and

3. Of course - our party needs believe in the values that made our country great.

But that is not nearly enough. We also need to (a) upgrade our technological savvy to equal and then surpass the Democrats, (b) we need to bring our fundraising into the 21st century and beyond, and (c) we must have a better dialogue with the younger generation.

WOW – our marching orders are to get jiggy with new technology, raise money and convince young liberally–indoctrinated kids that Republicans stand for “social justice”.

With LEADERSHIP like this how can we fail?

No wonder I am cranky. I propose the largest tax cut in history and the largest reduction in the size of government and he says “our party needs believe in the values that made our country great”. Well folks amending the Constitution to impose taxes was not what made our country great. It has been used by communists in our schools, unions and government to shackle and imprison us and lead us to the path of socialism.

The absolute failure of Republicans to embrace liberty and free market capitalism in the face of creeping socialism is beyond the pale. Cutting taxes and reducing the size of government is the answer – not appeasement of the liberal socialists in America.

But all I hear from Republicans about “really” cutting taxes and the size of government is

NO WE CAN”T

So Democrats march in with

YES WE CAN

I want to throw up.

Losing God

Folks –

You have to give pause to the success of Lenin’s philosophical goal of destroying capitalism through the destruction of faith in God. As godless communism is the target of so many on the left, they have succeeded beyond Lenin’s wildest dreams by diverting the 10% tithe to the churches in America into a 15% payroll tax that saps the economic energy out of capitalism and keeps the poor poor and exacerbates the income disparity that will madden the “proletariat” into the careless moves towards socialism – such as the election of the Democrat Party and their avowed “spread the wealth” Marxist Barack Obama. There is no better way to gut capitalism than to rob the individual of capital and transfer it to the socialist state.

I have been desperately trying to get people to believe in returning that 15% back to the people but have been stopped at every turn by the fear that Lenin’s followers have instilled in the American DNA that it is too expensive to give the people back “their” capital and the fear of financial markets cleverly orchestrated by the left’s minions in Congress and Wall Street to destroy confidence in capitalism by insisting lenders make NINJA loans.

It kind of betrays the old saying that that you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

Stupid is as stupid does.
